Medical Physics PhD Program Student

Aaron is a PhD student in the Medical Physics program co-mentored by Dr. Stephanie Markovina and Dr. Michael Altman at Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his B.S. in Physics at Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2019 and a Master of Science in Medical Physics at Washington University in St. Louis in 2022.  

Aaron is currently focusing on developing a preclinical cell irradiator platform to be used with a clinical high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy afterloader. A goal of his project is to investigate abscopal effects arising from the combination of brachytherapy and immunotherapy.
