Marlene Campos Guerrero is a first-generation Latina graduate student in the Cancer Biology Program at Washington University in St. Louis. She earned her B.S. in Microbiology from Kansas State University in 2019.
Marlene is interested in using an interdisciplinary and holistic approach to develop improved technologies for detection and treatment of cervical cancer. In addition to labwork, Marlene is interested in bridging the gap between the scientific community and the public with an interest in science communication and outreach.
